A girl riding a push bike has been seriously injured in a crash involving a motorbike that did not stop, Staffordshire Police have said.
Police were called to a footpath across a playing field near Cambrian in Tamworth at about 16:10 BST on Monday following reports of a collision between a black motorbike and the bicycle.
The girl was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Riders fled the scene
The motorbike rider and passenger, described as being aged 16 or 17, did not stop at the scene. Both were wearing all black with balaclavas and no helmets. They rode off towards Stoneydelph.
Appeal for information
Staffordshire Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Officers are also asking for doorbell or dashcam footage of the motorbike.
