The M42 southbound was closed on Friday morning following a crash involving a car and a motorbike between junction nine for Curdworth, Warwickshire, and junction 10 for Tamworth.
National Highways reported the closure at 05:40 BST. Warwickshire Police attended the scene to carry out investigations.
Road Reopens After Recovery
Shortly after 07:00 BST, National Highways confirmed that both vehicles had been recovered and the motorway had reopened. Residual delays of about 20 minutes remained, with around two miles of congestion in the area.
