A new self-storage facility has opened at Station Wharf on Victoria Road in Tamworth.
SureStore announced the opening in a release dated 28 September. The company's current Tamworth location page also confirms the site is open, beside the railway station and close to the town centre.
The facility is intended for household storage and business stock, including people moving home and firms needing space for tools or materials.
New use for a town-centre site
In its opening announcement, the company said unit sizes range from 10 square feet to 1,000 square feet. Access to units is managed through a smartphone app rather than conventional keys.
Paul Whittaker, commercial director at SureStore, said the company had considered Tamworth for some time before finding a suitable location.
The business says customers can access their units seven days a week. Access hours vary by day and are different from reception opening hours; readers should check the current timetable rather than assume the site is open around the clock.
