The Warley model railway show will return to Statfold Country Park near Tamworth on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026, bringing miniature layouts, modelling demonstrations and steam train rides together for a weekend event.

The exhibition will open from 10am to 5pm on both days. Organisers say the show will feature more than 30 model railway layouts, representing different historical periods, scales and gauges.

Layouts, demonstrations and railway heritage

A dedicated Tech Zone will host live craft demonstrations, while more than 20 modelling societies and over 30 specialist traders and manufacturers are also expected to take part.

The event is organised by Warley Model Railway Club, a registered charity, and is intended for experienced modellers, people new to the hobby and families looking for a local day out.

Paul Jones, the club's life president, said: "We are thrilled to bring the Warley Exhibition back to Statfold."

Tickets also include unlimited steam train rides on Statfold's narrow-gauge passenger railway and admission to the Roundhouse Locomotive Museum and National Fairground Museum. Fairground rides require separately purchased tokens.

Younger visitors can use Toby's Barn Soft Play and the Strawberry Play Park, which are included in admission.

Advance and gate ticket prices

The venue's current advance prices are £18.95 for an adult and £65 for a family ticket covering two adults and two children. Children under five enter free.

The club lists adult admission at the gate at £20.95 and a family ticket at £69, subject to availability. These are different from the lower advance prices, so visitors should check the booking page before travelling.

Pre-booked ticket holders can enter from 9.30am, giving them half an hour before general opening.
