Which Tamworth bin should I put out?
Use the address calendar to check which containers are due. The blue bin takes accepted glass, cans and plastics; the blue bag takes paper and card. Some rural properties have a purple bin for paper and card instead. The black bin is for rubbish that cannot be recycled.
Put your outdoor food-waste caddy out every week with your normal collection. Garden waste is a separate subscription service, so check your subscribed dates in the calendar. Flats and shared bins may have different arrangements.
For excess cardboard, fold it into blue-bag-sized bundles, secure it beside the bag and keep it out of plastic bags. In wet weather, put the extra card out on collection morning. Keep the food caddy outside your larger bin so crews can see it.

Missed bin?
After 5.30pm, check the missed-streets list. Leave containers out if your street is listed. Otherwise, report a bin that was out on time and accepted for collection using the live form. The form says midnight on the next working day; the missed-streets page says the following day. Report promptly and check the form’s current deadline. Assisted collections have separate arrangements.
