Tamworth residents have until 25 October to complete Tamworth Borough Council's annual resident and budget survey, which asks for views on council services, spending priorities and life in the borough.

The survey covers residents' overall satisfaction with Tamworth, priorities that matter most to them, views on council services and spending, and levels of trust in the council. It also asks about local community characteristics and quality of life.

The feedback will inform the council's future budget-setting and priorities decisions.

How to take part

The survey is available online at https://surveys.zencity.io/tamworth-borough-council/OQtR91/en?s=sd until 25 October 2026.

Paper copies are available from Marmion House reception for residents who prefer that format.

Context: Council funding

Tamworth Borough Council receives nine pence from every pound of council tax paid by residents – around £191 per year for an average Band C property. The remaining council tax goes to Staffordshire County Council, police and fire services. This funding, combined with business rates and government grants, supports a range of council services.
